7. I have to. What are the alternatives?
We have to make our votes count. We have to take our country back. We have to have our voices heard. We really need a resurgence of real investigative reporters to keep us informed. Surely in the blogosphere these people exist and we have to make sure their reports show up on DU to edify us all. Thank you.

9. Oh. Did you mean this government?
I thought no matter who is in power it is still the American Government and it does still belong to us and is up to us to make sure it represents all of us.

Food supply is more and more unsafe every day
Way toooo much stuff is being recalled due to potential hazards
Most of our military is elsewhere
A flagged TB patient can easily enter the country (regardless of how dangerous he was or wasnt)

11. The greatest dangers in my life are caused by ME.
This is what the seatbelt law was about. The helmet laws. The drug war. All tests to work us up to accepting their control. Not about how I might have to pay the hospital bills for some brain dead motorcyclist who wasn't wearing a helmet. That was all bull.

If I want to be safe, I will stop riding a bike. Stop driving a car. Stop drinking and smoking.

After all, tobacco related deaths number around 1500 per day. Where is that in terms of terrorism? There are too many zeros to even put on this page, to have that in percentage.

Phonies scaring 'fraidies. What a joke. All my life my dad said that one day people would be talking about "peace and safety".

Here's how I feel- I don't feel fear. And when I do I won't be asking my government to help me out. They've taken on a life of their own. They're supposed to be our extension. Now they are a separate entity. With a life of it's own. That is not how it was supposed to be. That is how King George wanted it.

So King George lives again!

16. Thank god for the 2nd Amendment...
I just wish some of our illustrious leaders would quite trying to get rid of it.

It does serve in important purpose, and that is NOT HUNTING.
