Please take a look at this thread and see this "with us or against us" attack for what it is. Its not the first time. K&R if the force moves you, more of DU should see that this kind of thing is going on.

3. I just delete threads like that
It isn't worthwhile to respond to that kind of stuff IMHO.

4. Obama is going to invade Pakistan
That was acceptable to you, so all's fair.

Unless whining really is Hillary's strategy rather than responding to criticisms.

5. I've seen the sentiment before here. It really is a bizarre defense of Obama...
... one I hardly think he'd approve of.

6. Actually, I would like to see them both fall off the map.
But I will support a "D" in the primary.

Yawn.

7. I copied some of that to another thread where an Obama
supporter stated he would listen to Hillary supporters if they weren't so arrogant.

10. Since the thread's gone I can't know for sure if people actually said that Hilary wants Osama
to go free. If they did that is juvenile, but all i've seen is people defending Obama's staements about Pakistan, which the Hilary supporters were attacking.

14. Either the thread was removed or the link is wrong.
Any attack like this against fellow Democrats is disgusting, I don't care who they are supporting.

I'm an Obama supporter, but some Obama and Clinton supporters need to take a damn chill pill and cut this stupid crap out.

Stick to the issues and quit making our Democratic candidates into demons as if they were vile Republicans.

17. I think the post should've been deleted by a moderator.
That's the kind of nonsense that makes me want to avoid any thread where Obama or Clinton is mentioned. I keep getting sucked in. I might take a break until right before the Iowa caucus.

I just don't see the point of using that kind of rhetoric when one of them or Edwards might be our nominee. They spend so much time tearing down the other candidate that they'll have a hard time voting for one of them in the general election. Waste of time.

Stick to the issues with rational debate, not with "republican-like" rhetoric and name calling.

16. There seems to be a "my way or the highway" mentality among some BO fans
Edited on Mon Aug-06-07 10:07 PM by draft_mario_cuomo
If you criticize or even question Obama you must be evil and silenced. The OP is a great example. If you disagree with Obama's position on announcing in advance what you would do in Pakistan (notice our two most experienced foreign policy candidates, Biden and Richardson disagreed with Obama...) you must hate America and be soft on terrorism, right? Just yesterday I had a BO fan telling me what to post, what parts of Obama's Iraq record I was allowed to question, and what to read.

BO fans have done an excellent job of limiting dissent at DU. I once had someone PM me an article that was critical of Obama. Why? Because he/she (I did not even know who this person was before) was afraid of incurring the wrath of Team Obama if he/she posted it. Contrast the reaction Team Obama has when something critical of their candidate is posted to that of Team Clinton...
