Ok, I have to say this: Kucinich is the best friend Labor has |
|
among the seven Democratic candidates who are present in Chicago. This guy is making a lot of sense and looks like he genuinely cares about those of us who are considered "Joe Six Pack" types. I have been waffling about who to support, but I think Kucinich is the man all of Organized Labor should get behind.

I even turned to my husband and told him that if Gore or Clark didn't get in, I'd vote for the Kooch. I know he can't win, but hell, if everyone who said that would vote for him, maybe he could.

Sadly -- too far to the left for the majority vote. Just my view of realism (I stand to be corrected).
He is enlightening and entertaining and we will always be served with him in a congressional role.

And here's why I say this. I live in the reddest part of Arkansas, and I've been telling folks about Kucinich's health care plan, after handing them a copy of Sicko to watch and pass around (no theaters in 100 mile radius are showing the film). I've changed Republican's minds about health care through this one-two punch. And I'll keep on talking up what Dennis Kucinich says.
I've started looking for political bumper stickers in the town where I work-expected to see a load of Huckabee signs. So far none. So far, the ONLY bumper sticker I've seen was for Kucinich.

Who came right out and said "I will get us out of NAFTA and the WTO." NAFTA has killed American manufacturing, and all the other candidates hemmed and hawed about the question of NAFTA. With any luck, Obama will spend his campaign trying to find the President of Canada and stay out of the way!
The Unions should be supporting the one who will dump NAFTA, and he's the one.
