"Hillary wins on healthcare" WTF?
From the lips of Chris The Matthews and reiterated by Terry The McAuliffe.

Can someone help me out here -- Did HRC actually *announce* a HC plan in the last week while I was sleeping?

1. No she didn't - that's why she won
Edited on Tue Aug-07-07 08:39 PM by jgraz
The Insurance and Pharma companies who pay Tweety's salary don't want a health care plan.

ETA: Neither does GE.

6. But, but, but
Arguing a negative isn't the deal here. They claim "her health care plan" is the trump card. I just want to know what the fuck it IS?? As fas as I have seen, she has taken the 5th on the question...

14. GE wants a two-class society:
The Welch Set and the people that old bastard stomps on.

They'll dive off of the "market-driven" cliff before conceding that "Creepin' SOSHULISM!" beats our system's ass one-hundred fold.

13. *sigh*
On to writing down the sponsors for H&C for the weekly work email then. I can't wait for school to start back up next week -- I am getting to wound up about this all.

These people are SO full of shit.

As much as I loathe The Hillary -- one position, one mention, one acknowledgment of the mere fact that healthcare-for-profit is a *bad* thing would at least garner the remote possibility of my vote in the GE.

in their "pimping" of her candidacy.

It's like looking through a glass of water. Clear as can be.

the corporate whores in media are carrying their master's water.

24. Backing Edwards here
So am not sure about the exact quote as I have not been following the campaign clips too closely, but Obama made a comment at YearlyKOS during the debate in reference to the fact that the Ins/Pharma industry spent $1bn in the last 2 decades in lobby funds -- noting that they didn't do it "for their health".

'Twas quite amusing.

Looking forward to the YouTube clip on that!

16. Hillary could have said "Fuck Health Care! I hope you all die!"
And, the pundits would have praised her for her articulate honesty and given her the debate.

Nice to see how "fair and balanced" they're being having Terry McAuliffe on to discuss Hillary. They might as well ask Bill Clinton on to give his views as well.

25. Stay tuned, I'm sure they will.
This is a one sided push for Hillary and possible soap-opera TV ratings. I think Matthews wants Clinton v Guliani or Thompson because he has some kind of erotic fixation. This guy is all about image.
