My first choice is Wes Clark. If not, then I'd love to see Al Gore. |

Seeing that these two have not entered the race yet and very well may not, after watching the latest debate, I have to go with Joe Biden. He's a "straight shooter" (unlike Dick Cheney...yes, there was an intended pun :D), he opposes "free" trade. He is for tax fairness. He was wrong to vote for the credit bankruptcy "reform", but he has a lifetime worth of experience on foreign policy. Our next President is going to need much of this.
So at this time I have chosen Joe Biden. I know he is well behind and not well liked around here, but everyone has the right to support whom they want to.
My top issues for 2008 are as follows: Foreign Policy/Security (which is very wide ranging), Job Security, the Deficit, and Tax Fairness.
edit: (side note) Chuck Schumer needs to get his head out of the ass of those hedge fund managers.

gore or clark or howard dean are my three choices.
wannabees and dynasty candidates are not on my list of choices tho I will vote for them if they are the democratic party nominee unlike some on DU who will NOT vote for the democrat unless their choice is not it.

4. Clark, then Gore, then? |
|
Can't really make up my mind at this point. I think they all are saying mostly the right things. I'm going to have to make a spreadsheet of their actions on things important to me...
Obama got it right on Iraq, and maybe that should be a litmus test. I don't like how far and how quick it narrows down the field though.

7. Shit......neither is running, |
|
which will make your wish tuff to render into reality. Too bad, cause I prefer Clark and Gore waaaayyyy better than anyone actually running.
Oh well! I'll have to choose from the lot offered by the end of September....I guess. :(

and then I woke up on Feb. 5, 2008 to the especially dismal choices I have.
Sigh....
I've lost hope that either will run. :( And, with those decisions, I'm stuck pretty much eenie, meanie, miney, mo'ing my vote on Feb. 5.

11. But "eenie, meanie, miney, and mo'ing" are far superior choices... |
|
to anything the Repulikans have to offer.

12. Biden is a credit card whore and a DLC stooge |
|
Biden also develops foot in mouth disease about three times a week.
He looks like a president should look, sounds smart enough, but he is kinda nuts and really isn't for the average guy. Just look at the bankruptcy reform bill he helped drop on us just as all of the mortgages fuck millions of Americans.
