Democrats should spend all of 2007 talking about the SCHIP

Pass the SCHIP (health care for children) bill to Bush and let him go through with his threat of not insuring millions of children, and talk about it for weeks. Months. all the way to the 2008 elections. Let all 10 candidates repeat their opposition to providing health care for children over and over and over again. If there is one position that will never be politically wise it is going against our children's well-being.
Let 2007 be all about the SCHIP.

We need to keep this on one of the front burners, but the rest of the country's infrastructure is falling down.

Iraqis in Baghdad do not have security.

Another 1,000,000 Iraqis have fled the country.

IMO, the Iraq occupation needs to be addressed first.

3. Let Bush save the Dems by vetoing the bill

Robbing Peter to pay Paul is how they funded this. They
are getting as good as GOP.

Sometimes it is better to tell Illegal Immigrant Special Interest.
We cannot afford it right now than take from people in Medicaid
Medicare and American Childrens's Health Fund.
