Serious Question? Why Edwards and not Obama, or Obama and not Edwards?
I'm not looking to be attacked here, I'm just curious.

Why do some Edwards people attack Obama, and why do some Obama people attack Edwards. Is it only about getting your guy elected, or is it that you see a real difference between the two candidates?

I'm an Obama supporter, but I also like Edwards. I think they are both electable, and they both seem to agree on many of the important issues. I have problems with both, but who doesn't have problems with the candidate they support?

I'd be estastic if Obama won the nom, but I'd have no problem with Edwards, and I can easily see myself supporting him in the general.

FWIW, my top five are Gore, Obama, Edwards, Kucinich, and Hillary.

I've never been a big fan of Kucinich, but after last night his stock went way up in my book. I still don't think he's electable, but it was nice to see someone come with honest answers, and with passion.

1. I don't understand why people seem to have such a strong dislike
for other candidates when they're all pretty much saying and doing the same things. I have a preference (Obama), but like you, I have no problem with Edwards or Hillary if they are the nominees--thus, I have no interest in tearing them down.

3. I'll second that...
Whoever has a "-D" behind his/her name in the General Election is going to get my complete support. I prefer Edwards over Obama and Hillary because Edwards has been talking about the issues that effect the working class and the poor for years.

My only knock on Obama is that I don't know if he has the horses to pull off a highly-contested national campaign. It's not like running for the Senate against the always-kooky Alan Keyes. And Hillary? While I loved the Big Dawg, in my heart I can't get excited about eight more years of the "Third Way" and political triangulation. I'll support her if that's what my fellow Democrats want, but it's only because the alternative is far, far worse.

2. I don't dislike any of them but...
I have never and that means last campaign also, never seen what everyone sees in Edwards. He just seems to repeat the same thing over and over again it all sounds the same. The campaign with him and Kerry it was even worse,I would change the channel everytime I saw him.

4. I would be happy with either Obama or Edwards...
I'm just more inspired by Obama. If he were to drop out, my support would go to Edwards.

In fact I like all of our canidates aside from Hillary. ABH
