Were there VP's in last nights debate
It may just be my imagination. But I feel that Chris Dodd calling out Obama & then double teaming him with Hilary showed he was looking for a Clinton/Dodd ticket. The same with Biden. A very rude answer when the lady asked him an important question. He was still trying to fight Obama's point. Was he looking for a Obama/Biden ticket? Are we seeing those 2-3rd tier candidates looking for a good VP spot this early in the race.

1. Nah
Dodd doesn't provide anything, geographically or politically to Clinton.

I doubt very much we'll have a double-senator ticket for some time. Clinton/Obama is the only one that I could see happening, but even then, I don't think it's likely.

I think Clark and Richardson would be likely VP candidates for any of the major candidates.

7. I think Richardson.
But I like the sound of Clinton/Clark.

12. If that happens, I wonder if I can order bumper stickers with
the Veep candidates name only. :)

I mean, in my area, he'd have more of shot than she would.

2. I thought Biden blowing off that woman whose husband has died to
continue talking about what he wanted to instead of answering her question was disgraceful. If I had been in that audience, I would have booed him, too. I don't want him anywhere near the WH, thank you.

3. Pretty sure Dodd, Richardson and Biden are now just looking
for VP or cabinet slots. Especially Dodd and Biden. They've been in the Senate so damn long--time for a promotion.

5. i had a whole different take on it..
it seemed to me that every time biden spoke hillary was there nodding in agreement..they seemed to be in lockstep with one another..i came away from that debate thinking the back room deals are already going on and that perhaps hillary and biden are thinking of teaming up for a clinton/biden ticket. i do not trust biden...he speaks very well and i find that i agree with him on most of what he has to say but his votes disturb me

8. I think it's going to be Richardson.
He balances the ticket geographically, is Hispanic, and has all that experience, including in the Clinton administration. Biden would probably love to be VP, but might have to settle for a cabinet post. Dodd does nothing for the ticket, IMO.

11. It would be a shoe in if he actually performed in the debates, but he's been terrible.
He hasn't made a very good case for himself.

14. He doesn't have to make a case to HRC though...

She already knows what he's capable of ~ and she's enough of a player to know we need the electoral votes in those western states he can carry.

(And, as femmocrat pointed out, it doesn't hurt that he's Hispanic. Many Floridians will appreciate that, as well as those in the western states.)

15. Perhaps that's true, but it would be an easier sell to the public.
I like him, I think he is smarter and more competent than he has come across in the debates. I like that he has executive experience.
