Upstate GOP (Greenville, SC) censures Graham. Above-the-fold headlines!
This was the amazing above-the-fold headline in this morning's ultra-right Greenville Daily News: Angry Local Party Censures GOP's Graham. By late afternoon, the online story was all but buried, and re-titled: Graham stands by his actions; South Carolina senator censured by Greenville GOP. The story, by Greenville News political hack Dan Hoover ( :puke: ), was essentially the same in both print and on-line editions:

U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham defended his conservative credentials Tuesday in the wake of a censure by the Greenville County Republican Executive Committee.

The panel, made of representatives from each of the county's precincts, censured Graham for continuing "to adamantly support legalization of illegal immigrants in spite of" thousands of communications of "strong opposition" from local grassroots Republicans.

Graham said, "I can't please everybody. That's impossible. But I know what I am doing and why. I'll put my voting record up against anybody. I think I have made a difference in a positive way. I feel very good about what I have done in the Senate."

"I think I've been a good senator for the conservative cause. I've been pro-life senator of the year for the state of South Carolina. I have voted for every tax cut that President Bush has ever proposed. I have been a conservative, aggressive senator," he said.

This is Christian Nation and BoJo (Bob Jones "University") country. They are in a feeding frenzy, eating their own. Look at Lindsey Graham's defense. "My conservatism is bigger than your conservatism. Yada yada yada!" And "Pro-Life Senator of the Year for SC"? Hate to tell you Lindsey, but you have a 50/50 chance (tag-teaming with Jim DimWit) of getting that dubious distinction at any given time.

These people are frightening. They are crazy!

Lindsey "5-Rugs 5-Dollars!" Graham

3. Christians vs. Lyin's
The Christians are so losing, and don't have a clue. The GOP liars ("lyin's"), springing from their lairs, have the Christians totally buffaloed (as my pappy would say).
