Last night, Joe Biden and Chris Dodd were kissing Hillary's ass
targeting Obama, not trying to make room for themselves to move up from 2nd tier to first tier, but positioning themselves to win a White House cabinet post in the so called Clinton administration. Dodd and Biden have no chance in winning the nomination so now the game plan is to get in bed with Hillary (all three have probably discussed it, along with Bill) fight her battles with Obama and Edwards during the debates. This way she just stands back with no engagement with Obama or Edwards and at the opportune time, inject statements contrary to their positions for voter pandering or just avoid the question completely. If you paid attention, she will not engage Obama directly or admit any mistakes. Also during the exchange with Dodd and Obama, Hillary winked at Dodd. She is the classic example of someone who picks a fight, let's other's engage in her battles, takes no responsibility while she cheers from the sidelines. This way she is does not get her hands dirty and is free to blame others.

The Clintons are known for payoffs and making future promises and that cost is loyalty (look in the dictionary under Bush/Chaney. This type of slickery and deception is exactly what she will do to the american people if she is elected. This old horse cannot change her stripes overnight and become a credible, honest and trustworthy candidate. This is how she operates and won her way to this position (with Bill's help) and this is not what America needs. In addition, when she addressed an audience of African American women earlier this year, she used the term "I'm your sister" and last night to a predominately white crowd, she said "I'm your girl". She's a manipulative panderer and a bullshit artist. We need a change in D.C.

Hillary has served for 38 yrs. A brief bio:

Hillary Rodham Clinton was elected to the United States Senate by the people of New York on November 7, 2000, after years of public service on behalf of children and families. She is the first First Lady of the United States elected to public office and the first woman elected independently statewide in New York State. A strong advocate for New York, Senator Clinton works with communities throughout the state to strengthen the economy and expand opportunity. The Senator supports a return to fiscal responsibility because she knows that wise national economic policies are essential to protect America's future.

She serves on the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee; the Environment and Public Works Committee; the Special Committee on Aging; and she is the first New Yorker ever to serve on the Senate Armed Services

5. Biden on Countdown just now
Keith gave him a chance to better explain what he meant yesterday in his answer to the miner's widow. He clarified that he did answer the question (which indeed he did, but not in the most artful of ways, and apologized for so quickly jumping to the point he wanted to make re Pakistan but did not get a chance. And he emphasized again that an attack based on actionable intelligence is ALREADY the US policy, and implicitly (almost explicitly actually) accused Clinton and Dodd of playing with the facts. I do not call this "kissing ass".

(His dying words were reputedly: "keep the right wing strong".)

I think we can count on her doing that in the party, third-wayer that she is...

(I, for one, am not incredibly impressed with her strategic or tactical prowess; she's playing the cautious game of the favorite: working the bandwagon inevitability angle, avoiding getting pinned down on issues and not tangling too much with her rivals. There's nothing brilliant or innovative here, and I don't think anyone else is doing anything particularly new or exciting either.)

12. It's one of the tactics that Clinton used in '92 to get other candidates defeated early on.
But, it won't work with Obama.
Let Hillary wink at everyone she wants to.

This isn't about who wants to break barriers, this is about who is going to change the direction of the Iraq War.

Those 3 don't like Obama because he is an upstart, he hasn't been there for years and years.
Like Biden.
Who has been there for years and years and has little to show for it.
Like Dodd.
Who has been there for years and years and has little to show for it.
Like Hillary.
Who has been there for years and years - no, wait, she hasn't been there that long.

10 years from now, he'll be too "establishment", too much a Washington insider. 20 years from now, he'll be too old, past his prime. That's your mud, you've got to sling it, and you show up consistently and do your job against him. But know this: your "girl" will never be beloved by the American people. She wasn't before, she's not now, and even as Prez, she won't be. I take comfort in that.

15. Hillary was right when she advised not using hypotheticals as Obama did...
Now by innuendo, Musharaff is using Obama for his own propaganda purposes.

And more hyperbolic hypotheticals from you:

1.===(Dodd and Biden)"positioning themselves to win a White House cabinet post in the so called Clinton administration."===

What is a so-called Clinton Administration? Never heard the term before. Can you elaborate, please?

2.===(Hillary) "she will not admit any mistakes."===

What mistake(s) would that be?

3.==="Hillary winked at Dodd."

What does that comment mean? Is Hillary breaking an obscure Iowan 'winking law'?

4.==="The Clintons are known for payoffs and making future promises and that cost is loyalty."

I'd like to see proof of this assertion..Link please!

5.==="This old horse cannot change her stripes overnight and become a credible, honest and trustworthy candidate."

Are you saying Hillary is (egads!) a Zebra? Please provide proof of your assertions, not hyperbolic remarks they don't count.

6.==="In addition, when she addressed an audience of African American women earlier this year, she used the term "I'm your sister" and last night to a predominately white crowd"

Aren't all women regardless of race... sisters? I would think her identical remark to white women makes that point crystal clear..

7.===""I'm your girl". She's a manipulative panderer and a bullshit artist. We need a change in D.C."===

We'll have the change we're looking for- After she receives the Nomination, we won't have to read *Bull Shit* posts like yours degrading the Democratic nominee anymore.

Hillary is nothing but a shill for Bill. She is simply doing an end run around the 2 term rule. Husband and wife should be like one. By the end of 2008 we will have had 20 years of Bush, Clinton, Bush. Enough already! This is not a 2 family monarchy. What would follow 8 years of Hillary, 8 years of Jeb and 8 years of Chelsea?
