Said that Powell just donated to McCain, and that an endorsement could soon follow.

Powell has been a major screw up, yet the public still seems to hold him in high regard..

1. First Obama, now McCain?
Apparently Powell is hedging his bets by playing on both sides.

2. I thought about that when they did the teaser about who Powell was supporting..

I remembered that he advised Obama earlier in his campaign...

But Tom Foreman said that now that Powell has put some actual money down on McCain, they're expecting an endorsement to follow..

And CNN being CNN >> are already blabbing about how this might change the McCain campaign.

3. LOL. "Run, boy, run."
as far away as you can from the disgraced former SOS.

I acknowledge that he was once upon a time an honorable man and hero, but he put that all aside when he lied to the UN. And then there's the coconut review. McCain will probably accept Powell's endorsement simply based on the latter episode.

Co-conuts.

4. Who would care?
The Republican hard core doesn't care, because they don't see him as one of them. It won't do McCain much good in the primary at all.
