I just got home. Had to go the doctor. Of all days to get an ear infection! I drove past the Abbey (where the fundraiser is) and saw a couple of the SS dudes with the dark glasses and ear pieces on. No sign of the asshole anti-abortion freaks that are planning to protest.

But they have the resturant closed and they are prepping the joint.

It HOT! I'm gonna ware shorts and a snappy little shirt. I'm getting EXCITED!!!

It's good to see you so passionate and so excited about going to see a presidential candidate. When I next visit the US -I'm thinking of trying to come during next year when the campaign is in full swing -I'm definitely going to try and attend a few of these events and meet some of the candidates. My BIL went to a Gore-Lieberman rally when he visited Chicago and he said it was a wonderful and unique experience. We don't have fundraisers and rallies on the same scale in my country as you do in yours.

Even though Hilary would not be my first choice for the nomination (not that I have a say), I would LOVE to meet both her and her husband. I loved them when they were in the White House together and I would absolutely do anything to get to meet Bill and Hilary and thank them for allowing me to spend my teenaged years in an environment of world peace and prosperity.

You may find when you meet Hilary that you are overwhelmed by the experience. There was a female politician in politics in my country who had the same kind of national profile and characteristics in my country that Hilary does in yours and I felt the same way about her that I do about Hilary. Like you, I attended a fundraiser for her and I went up to meet her. You could feel the charisma even when you weren't close to her. But when I finally got to meet her, she clasped my hand in both of hers and I was just so bowled over that I was left lost for words and hopelessly trying to remember what it was that I was trying to say to her. I'm sure Hilary has the same kind of charisma.

Enjoy your experience to the fullest and share your experiences and pictures with us. Cherish every moment of it. I know you will
