Obama: Enough With "Black Enough"
LAS VEGAS--Speaking before the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Las Vegas, Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) directly addressed the charge that he is "not black enough."

He joked about the issue at first, poking fun at a stereotype of blacks. "I apologize for being a little bit late," he said, "but you guys keep asking if I'm black enough, so I figured I would stroll in."

But he turned serious about such questions. "We should ask ourselves why that is," he said. "It is not because of my physical appearance presumably. It's not because of my track record... I think in part we're still locked in this notion if you appeal to white folks, there must be something wrong."

4. No. Bill Clinton is a white man, regardless of his cultural affinity to black America.

5. As Bill Clinton famously said "There's less difference within a race than between"
Genetics are less important than culture. There are plenty of black "white" people and white"black" people.

6. Yeah, but phenotypically white people
Do not experience the kind of discrimination phenotypically black people experience. Regardless of the cultural affinity, Bill Clinton will never be treated as a "nigger" by anyone. Obama probably has.

8. Really? How about on the telephone?
A successful but non threatening black person will be treated better in 98% of America than a scary looking successful white person. Like Condi Rice vs Michael Moore. Neil Young vs Vanessa Williams. David Alan Coe vs Dave Chapelle. Amy Winehouse vs Oprah. Michael Jordan vs John Daly. Colon Pile vs Zell Miller(both traitors who mislead their supporters). It has always been deeper than skin.

7. "There are plenty of black "white" people and white"black" people."
What's that supposed to mean?

9. "Black Enough" is just the use of a black social stereotype
to try and keep African Americans puzzled about Obama's concern about issues in the black community. The intent of the MSM, by consistently airing this "label" of Obama, complete with it's political pundits, black and white, hope that it will "psychologically" discourage black voters. This is just another media ploy, no different that the bias use of poll numbers. Just think, Barack Obama is African American (forget about his background, black is black.), yet African Americans are suppose to believe that Hillary Clinton has more value and credibility in the African American community across this nation? I find that funny, irresponsible and naive. This is just another illusion centered around Hillary's connection to Bill.

As First Lady, Can anyone tell me exactly what HILLARY CLINTON did for the African American community? NOT PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON but Hillary Clinton. Visits to a HBCU (Historically Black College or University), or The Martin Luther King Jr. Museum or Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, or the NAACP or The National Urban League does not count. All First Ladies make visits. I want laws, policy, specific changes that benefited the black community since she has all this so called experience with the African American and the issues. She loves to use her First Lady days as "experience" during her campaign. What did she do? Please be specific. Thank You.

11. It's time to elect a president of color.
After Katrina, America needs to put its collective foot down on racism.
