This is one of the inherent advantages Obama has against what has come before: he is a master of language and wields it with great agility.
John Kerry asked him to be the keynote speaker at the Boston convention in 2004.
I think it was a great decision by Kerry and a tremendous speech by Barack Obama.
Any American who did not watch that keynote address missed a very great moment in the nation's history.
