Quote of the week, if not the CAMPAIGN, from the AFL-CIO forum:
"I find it amusing that those who helped to authorize and engineer the biggest foreign policy disaster in our generation are now criticizing me for making sure that we are on the right battlefield and not the wrong battlefield in the war against terrorism." - Barack Obama

He's not gonna take the B.S. about Pakistan from those who didn't get their priorities right on Iraq.

1. Yes! I loved that quote. Obama's not taking shit from anybody--
not when he knows he's right. The kid's got moxie!

2. That really is a great response. There's nobody in the Bush White House
who can compete in ideas at that level.

This is one of the inherent advantages Obama has against what has come before: he is a master of language and wields it with great agility.

John Kerry asked him to be the keynote speaker at the Boston convention in 2004.

I think it was a great decision by Kerry and a tremendous speech by Barack Obama.

Any American who did not watch that keynote address missed a very great moment in the nation's history.

3. Yeah, that was beautiful. Amazing to know that we can still recognize the truth
when we hear it.

What a refreshing change from the current "administration."
