Kucinich knocking them out of the park on This Week
He's delineating what he would do about Iraq, and it is clear, concise, and easy to understand. I love him saying that he's at the center--which is exactly right!

2. let's send him money folks
Edited on Sun Aug-12-07 10:51 AM by MissWaverly
he gets the big picture, a nuclear bomb would impact the world, the world not just a target site.
And I thought George Stephenopoulos was rude, his whole attitude was snarky and he turned away before
the interview was over. You didn't see him do that with Brownback and there was no mention of the fact
that Rudy polled at under 2% in the Iowas caucas, so much for the news, eh, George.

3. I have donated
and I don't have much cash to spare. Anyone who believes in getting out of Iraq, having health care for all, and JOBS for this country should try and send some money Dennis Kucinich's way. It's easy to do right here at DU--go to the bottom of the Home page.

5. Thanks, I sent him money too
I like his "get our Iraq with no bs", we get more oil from South America than we do from the Middle East. Do the American people
know this, NO. Has George Bush done anything but insult our latin american neighbors, NO.

6. they are totally biased, who cares
they will yammer on for 20 minutes about Obama's lack of experience, do they mention Rudy's lack of experience on
foreign relations or legislative matters. He was the mayor of New York not a governor and not a congressman.

8. The 10% have so much power - and I mean twisted power, more even than
Edited on Sun Aug-12-07 12:08 PM by KCabotDullesMarxIII
the regular power of wealth - I believe he would stand a better chance of getting elected (bearing in mind that twisted power) if he stated, instead, that he would keep the minimum nuclear-weapons capacity for deterrence. And no upgrading of them that isn't absolutely necessitated. That should, I would think, release billions, if not trillions of dollars of taxpayers' funds for positive use on the country's infrastructure, social and material.

In a US without that twisted power of the 10%, I think he would now be very close to being prime presidential material - particularly if the economy continues to tank. It would be a shame to see it jeopardised because he would do away with the 10%'s cod-piece.

11. I cannot imagine a more reasoned and Presidential response
than the one I saw from Dennis Kucinich today.

Unelectable? HAH!
