WOW - I fell asleep with the TV on and just woke up to the news that Rove Resigns. WOW. Am I dreaming? Will I really wake up and find that this isn't so?

It's just sinking in. Something is up. Wonder what it is? Either someone or some committee is getting close to getting to him. Or - it's time that he begin to work for the next Repug candidate for Pres. All kinds of things are going through my mind.

Is it FitzMas?

Even if it is not = Merry FitzMas to all and to Rove a goodnight.

It will be interesting to hear the talking heads analyze this. What will Tweety say?

Would love to hear Randi's take on this - but she's on an Alaskan cruise.

Do you think this was part of a deal that caused the Dems to cave on FISA? We'll vote in favor of you George - but you got to get rid of Rove.

Did Cheney win the power struggle in *CO?

Could we consider this a 'frogmarch' out of the WH?

Did he and Chimpy have a falling out? Is he going to spill the beans?

Will he have to honor the subpoena's now?

What will the Chimp's statement be? What will Cheney say? What will be Letterman's Top Ten Reasons Why Rove Resigned?

I got to think that this was planned and calculated. * had to know. Who will take Rove's place to help * out during his final days in office which I still think number over 500? Is something else up? Did * listen in on Rove's calls and find out that he's been being played as a sucker?

Will this be spun by *Co that Rove was really asked to resign? Is this an attempt to make * look good?

Good grief!!!! Just a 1000 questions ruminating in my head about this.

What will be the reaction of the Conservative talking heads - Rush, Hannity, Coulter, Malkin, etc, etc. What's being said on the Freeper sites?

Is another Repug '08 Pres candidate coming out soon that Rove will be assigned to?

I expected to hear Gonzo resigning - not Rove. Will Gonzo resign too?

This is coming on a Monday - not in the normal Friday news dump. Why? Why did he wait til today? This story will supersede the Utah mining, shuttle tile and bridge collapse and the lady with 150 cats stories.

Did something develop over the weekend that caused Rove to do this unexpectedly? Is an indictment coming down? Is this why impeachment was off the table? Will Cheney be next? Will * himself resign?

The questions. The questions are just jumping out.

I Hear That Rove Expects *'s Poll Numbers To Go Up.........

and he that thinks conditions in Iraq will improve.

Does Rove mean that these will happen due to his resigning?

Is Newt entering the race?

Was Rove hired away by Kucinich?

Whatever is going on - hey - KKKarl Rove is OUT.

Will he be outed in the D.C. Madam story?

Is Larry Flynt behind this resignation?

Oh the questions keep coming.

Did they wake up * in the middle of the night to tell him he has lost his brain?

Come On - This Is KKKarl Rove - The Guy That Wanted Perpetual Repug Rule......

and he's saying he wants to spend more time with his family. No - I don't believe it for one second. Something is up - either bad for him and *Co or he's assigning himself to an '08 Repug candidate.

This spinning has already begun. MSNBC had someone on saying that Rove wants to go back to teaching and perhaps write a book.

What is going on? What IS going on? WHAT is going on?

2. Rove leaving can't be by accident

There has to be a plan on what his next project is going to be. Or who that project is going to be.

These people don't go away that easily, we need to be on our toes and pay attention to everything this fucker does. Who does he see? were does he go? what does he do?

3. KKKarl ain't really going nowhere. He's a lightening rod and right now

during the current storm they want to divert all the 'electricity' that's been coming their way. They figure if he's 'gone', that'll take some of the heat off. And then he can begin to figure out his next moves in making sure that this country remains the corporatist shithole it is right now.

6. He says he's returning to Texas for the sake of his family...

That's code for something. I just haven't figured it out yet.

4. At least Keith Olbermann is back today.

He was MIA Thursday and Friday. It'd be pretty bad if he wasn't on with his gang tonight to speculate on what this means.

I can not remember when a person not of the president, vice president or ex variety had a secret service group of protection.

that's what he does - he works on campaigns. He can't do much more to help this President, so he's moving on to the next gig.
