OK folks...once and for all....
Clinton IS experienced - she has spent her entire adult life in public service, elected and otherwise, read her damn bio and stop spreading crap

EDWARDS IS capable of being an HONEST advocate for the poor, and understanding the real issues regardless of how much freakin money he has

OBAMA is...oh crap...surely you get the point...

SOME of you need to do your own damn research and stop spreading the cheap-shot talking points. FACTS are your friends.

Ok...flame away...just getting sick of the same old crap showing up on every thread.

I can't get good broadband where I am, and I'm tired wading through thread after thread polluted with all this inaccurate crap. It's OK to say you JUST DONT LIKE candidate A or B.

8. That's how they framed their marriage in his first campaign for president, remember?
Remember?

I still have a button with four sparkly young faces on it with the words "The Dream Team". The faces were: Bill and Hillary Clinton and Al and Tipper Gore.

So yeah, she's probably entitled to a little of that now.

17. Except that her one "major policy" in Clinton's first term was the 1994 disaster
of that health care reform attempt that blew up in her face, and all our faces-- to the point that Hillary has now pathetically waved a white flag and become a sycophant to the insurance companies. Not exactly a distinguished record for her. Furthermore, you should be wary of citing this notion of a "team presidency" in 1992-2000 for no other reason than that it bumps up against the 22nd Amendment-- the people elected Bill Clinton on the ballot in 1992 and 1996, not Hillary Clinton. At the very least, Bill had charm and charisma, which Hillary utterly lacks.

16. Experienced in what?
"she has spent her entire adult life in public service, elected and otherwise"

First of all, WTF does Hillary's prior job with her law firm have to do with public service?

Second, like Obama hasn't done this? Well before he was a Senator from Illinois, Barack Obama was in the trenches in the Illinois Statehouse, while Hillary Clinton was the First Lady-- not exactly much of a public service job. Moreover, the one thing for which she's renowned from her First Lady days is the 1994 health care reform fiasco, which the GOP is going to be hammering her about constantly if she's nominated. And even then, it's hard to give her much credit since she's converted into a sycophant of the insurance companies, as Michael Moore pointed out in Sicko.

Besides, Hillary's public experience was so valuable to her that she made the intelligent, courageous decision to, uh, give George W. Bush a blank check to start the Iraq War-- and continued to support that war for many more disastrous years.

Experience in itself is only valuable if it leads to intelligent decisions, which in Hillary's case it has not. In fact, two of our best Presidents in the 20th century-- JFK on our side, and Eisenhower on the GOP side-- were actually quite inexperienced in the political realm, but were inspiring and astute executives when they took office. I'd rather have a younger yet more astute person like Barack Obama, who was smart enough to foresee the Iraq disaster from 2002, then a blundering sycophant to corporations, the warmongers and the military-industrial complex like Hillary Rodham Clinton, who made a terrible decision in 2002 that has resulted in the violent killings and maimings of hundreds of thousands of people in Iraq (our own as well as our allies and the Iraqis), then compounded it by continuing to support that disastrous conflict.

<<Besides, Hillary's public experience was so valuable to her that she made the intelligent, courageous decision to, uh, give George W. Bush a blank check to start the Iraq War-- and continued to support that war for many more disastrous years. >>

And Obama, after being against the war, votes to continue to fund it for years on end. And Hillary's first lady papers are now out of reach of anyone. She can make it up as she goes along. If she does not intend that those papers be available till after the 2008 election, then she has something to hide & I want to know what it is. Sorry, I don't trust Obama or Hillary.

Oh yeah. My candidate walks on water and your candidate was vomited forth from the bowels of Hell. Way to unify the party and get things done.

43. I LOVED the first Richarson commercial
Edited on Thu Aug-16-07 03:46 PM by wlucinda
that aired here in EAST TN...The White House job Interview piece was great! Prior to that, I didnt really pay any attention to Richardson until one of the televised Kerry-Edwards events when Richardson spoke. So, I'm still learning about him...

I'm closest to Kucinich on a lot of the issues, but I'm still candidate shopping....which is part of the reason I'm so annoyed at all the crap posts...its hard to get real info when you're sorting through all the BS talking points. GOOD arguments i can handle...but the smear stuff is counter-productive...
