To all Dean supporters from an Edwards supporter
Edited on Mon Feb-16-04 08:29 PM by sgr2
I've decided that regardless of the outcome of Tuesday's primaries that if Howard Dean decides he wants to stay in the race, more power to him. He deserves the chance to be heard if he wants to be. If he does drop out, I would certainly hope that he'll be a big force in grassroots and GOTV efforts and I would DEFINITELY want him heavilly involved in the Democratic Party. We are all Democrats though.

4. That comment should be deleted for lumping supporters together
Kerry people aren't hateful. If there is any 'hate' it probably comes from Dean's constant attacks on Kerry.

13. The truth isn't an attack
If Kerry believes Dean bringing up special interests is an attack, maybe he should have thought about that before he whored himself out to corporate America.

5. Exactly.
I don't think they understand the "heartbeat" of the Dean campaign.

Keep knocking on Dean.

Makes thing so much easier for Indy's like myself to convince other "Deaners" to pursue other options.

This is not a threat of any sort.

Because at this point, it really doesn't matter for us folks.

Just check-out the Dean Blog sometimes.

3. Thanks from a Dean supporter
I think the remaining four besides JK should stay until at least Super Tuesday. Best of luck to Edwards tommorrow.

6. From a Kucinich supporter, ditto.
If Howard Dean does decide to leave the race, that GOTV idea is a great one.

and wouldn't Dean make a great DNC Chair....a pit bill with intelligence, encouraging grass roots people.WOW.

9. You know, I think that McAuliffe and Dean need to work together
Honestly, I saw Dean and McAullife speak back to back at the Ohio Democratic Party's dinner in 2003. I think that while McAuliffe has made his mistakes, he has also become very aggressive and I think he really respects what Dean has to say. McAuliffe is nothing more than a mouthpiece for the party and a fundraiser. He's VERY good at those. But he needs leadership ALONG with him that is suited for the GOTV stuff. Someone who brings along an organization.

I'm a believer in people working together. And I think that a McAuliffe-Dean partnership would be VERY formidable.

10. For what, I've been cool with the Clark people
Heck, I donated to Clark. When he first got in. The General used $100 dollar's of my money to reach out to the people. Why would I apologize?

12. From a Kerry supporter, I hope Howard stays in the race as long as

he so desires. I respect the Doctor and the work his campaign has done to elevate the rhetoric and sharpen the contrasts between our vision and that of the war-for-profit party. I particularly appreciate that he was "out there" giving voice to our collective anger early on.

14. I'd do whatever it takes for Dean or Edwards but not for Kerry
I have my standards!

I hope one of our guys can take down Kerry. I simply do not trust Kerry and think he will be a terrible President.

Go Dean Go Edwards.
