If you do get seriously ill, you will hit your limits before you know it. (Talk to anyone with a recurrance of breast cancer)

for insurance versus the lower costs in other countries with equivalently rated care. Not only are we being "ripped off", but that the insurance coverage we buy is an illusion, since it, IIRC, is two to three times more costly than other places.
The extra we're paying is for some fancy CEO palaces and stockholders profits.
