Gore's unique opportunity/PRIORITIES
A crumbling infrastructure both literally (Minn bridge/Utah mine/La.levies) and figuratively (housing market/health care/exported jobs to China, India) may be the opening that Gore needs to enter the race.
He might be our BEST voice that could rise above the media filter/manipulation.
He can't be branded as flip flopping with the Iraq war vote. So, he could talk about all the money wasted there that could be going to these things instead of to the military budget.
He can't be branded as "inexperienced".
Don't even know if the "treehugger" label would work now.
This is not meant as a slam to any of our current candidates. (I'll support our nominee.)
Just meant as another way to look at what Gore might mean to the race and (if he gets in) how he should frame his message.
"Our nation's PRIORITIES must change" that should be the message.
Run, Al, Run!
