1. More numbers related to this state.,..
Hillary with a 55% approval rating...

Romney doing slightly better than in other states as his papa was Governor of Michigan at one point...

With her current support, Clinton leads Republican frontrunner Rudy Giuliani by nine percentage points (49% to 40%), Mitt Romney by ten (49% to 39%), Fred Thompson by thirteen (50% to 37%), and John McCain by thirteen (49% to 36%). In other state polling, Romney is often the weakest of the GOP candidates when matched against Clinton. However, his father served as Governor of Michigan in the 1960s. The elder Romney had also been Chairman of the American Motors Corporation in an era of better times for the auto industry.

When matched against the Republican contenders, Clinton earns from 51% to 53% support from women. Among men, she earns from 45% to 48%.

Clinton is viewed favorably by 55% of voters in the state. That figure includes 26% with a Very Favorable opinion.

2. This is good news. We only won MI by 5 points in 2000 and 3 points in 2004
It is good to see HRC comfortably ahead in Michigan. This would free up valuable resources to contest states Bush won.
