4. Oh boy oh boy oh boy just what we need
Is Obama running for a position on the NBA or is he a candidate for the presidential nomination. Just wondering what making a basket has to do with the president's credentials...I guess just like bush's record breaking brush cutting.

6. Chill, man! Obama took the shot at a high school gym with no warm-up, on a dare, and drained it.

9. I dunno...What did touch football have to do with the Kennedys?
What did playing the sax have to do with Big Dog? What did riding horsies have to do with Reagan? People love to see a little well-executed stagecraft now and then.

12. This is what Edwards says about that --
Edited on Thu Aug-23-07 06:05 PM by AtomicKitten
>>"I believe that once we are out of Iraq, the U.S. must retain sufficient forces in the region to prevent a genocide, deter a regional spillover of the civil war, and prevent an Al Qaeda safe haven. We will most likely need to retain Quick Reaction Forces in Kuwait and in the Persian Gulf. We will also need some presence in Baghdad, inside the Green Zone, to protect the American Embassy and other personnel. Finally, we will need a diplomatic offensive to engage the rest of the world in Iraq's future—including Middle Eastern nations and our allies in Europe."<<

>>"We need to avoid throwing numbers around for political benefit and instead take a broader view. As president, I will carefully assess the post-Iraq threat environment and consult with military commanders to determine the exact number of troops we need and where."<<

I'm guessing you're sorry you brought it up.

13. I like how he got his point in about our aging schools...
...another part of U.S. infrastructure that's in trouble.

One thing I really admire Obamababy for is his cool combination of playfulness and intellect!
