Let me get this straight: The GOP will hold hands with us for progressive change after we "unite"?
That is the bill of goods we are being sold by the merchants of "unity." The right-wing will suddenly hold hands with us as we sing "kumbaya" and they see the light. We will then work together to achieve progressive change in Washington. Don't you get it? All it takes is a magic individual, and poof! Trent Lott, Orin Hatch, Coryn, McConnell, and co. will work together with us to change Washington as we know it. They will work with us to achieve universal health care, tackle the climate crisis, shore up education, appoint progressive Supreme Court justices, and so on. And guess what? The insurance companies, drug companies, oil companies, and other special interests will hope onto the bandwagon too! Can't you see the utopia we can achieve if we have faith in a plan no one has seen to achieve "unity"?

1. Well, what they call "holding hands" is a contraction...
of their phrase "Holding their hands in place by nailing them to a fencepost while we have our dirty way with them on the other side".

They don't want unity. They want control and manipulation.

4. Yup, those guys. Now they will magically "unite" with us if we make enough concessions to them
