Rasmussen: Hillary remains down 5 points, Obama up 4 since Iowa debate, Edwards up 2
In the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination, Hillary Clinton continues to lead with 38% of the vote from Likely Democratic Primary Voters. Barack Obama earns support from 27% while John Edwards attracts 14% (see recent daily numbers). New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson and Delaware Senator Joe Biden each earn support from 3%.

(Hillary Clinton was at 43% on August 19th, Obama was at 23% and Edwards was at 12%. See the second link below for tracking history.)

Clinton is viewed favorably by 77% of Democrats, including 43% with a Very Favorable opinion. Twenty-one percent (21%) have an unfavorable view. Obama’s numbers among Democrats are also very strong—74% favorable and 24% unfavorable. These figures include 34% with a Very Favorable opinion of the Illinois Senator. Edwards is viewed favorably by 67% of Democrats and unfavorably by 28%.

The Rasmussen Reports Election 2008 Presidential Tracking Poll is updated daily, Monday through Friday. Daily results are based upon a four day rolling average and new results are posted each day by noon Eastern. See summary of general election match-ups and other key stats for all Democratic and Republican Presidential candidates.

7. Isnt this the debate where Dennis did real well ?
This was all over the net, this week, so what happened... ? Hiding any Dennis surge in the tabs behind a subscription wall is a cheap move.

2. Obama is very well spoken.
I saw him in an interview on public schools and NCLB
yesterday, and he comes across very well. I find
myself naturally liking and respecting him.. but I
just don't know if his actual record is much to speak
of. And I worry that he'll be just another corporofascist
like Hillary and the rest... except for maybe Edwards.

I'm still in Edwards' camp, but I worry about Edwards'
chances because MSM is so anti-Edwards it's unreal.

3. For all the whining people do about Hillary's negatives,
Obama and Edwards, have higher unfavorables.

Funny that.

lose a GENERAL ELECTION. The unfavorables among DEMS don't mean squat. Many don't vote anyway. Geez. Learn to understand the differnce in what favorable and unfavorables count.
