A Must See Movie..No End in Sight....Iraq/Bush

Opens This Weekend.....................

The first film of its kind to chronicle the reasons behind Iraq’s descent into guerilla war, warlord rule, criminality and anarchy, NO END IN SIGHT is a jaw-dropping, insider’s tale of wholesale incompetence, recklessness and venality. Based on over 200 hours of footage, the film provides a candid retelling of the events following the fall of Baghdad in 2003 by high ranking officials such as former Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage, Ambassador Barbara Bodine (in charge of Baghdad during the Spring of 2003), Lawrence Wilkerson, former Chief of Staff to Colin Powell, and General Jay Garner (in charge of the occupation of Iraq through May 2003) as well as Iraqi civilians, American soldiers, and prominent analysts. NO END IN SIGHT examines the manner in which the principal errors of U.S. policy – the use of insufficient troop levels, allowing the looting of Baghdad, the purging of professionals from the Iraqi government, and the disbanding of the Iraqi military – largely created the insurgency and chaos that engulf Iraq today. How did a group of men with little or no military experience, knowledge of the Arab world or personal experience in Iraq come to make such flagrantly debilitating decisions?

"What do they mean to imply when they talk about 'men with little military experience'? Didn't they see the HUGE codpiece I was wearing on the day I declared Mission Accomplished four years ago? Smirk. Only a REAL REPUBLICON HOMELANDER HERO like me could wear such a huge codpiece. That's the lesson I learned from our Vietnam experience: wear a huge republicon codpiece, and avoid the battlefield at all costs.

"Besides, all true Republicon Homelanders know for a fact that we have FAILED MISERABLY in our Iraq Oil Crusade because of Bill Clinton's penis. So there. Smirk, smirk, smirk."

2. Yet impeachment is off the table.
It should have been on the table and proceedings started in early 2007. It never ever should have been taken off the table. I see the Dems in Congress as playing little strategic games of politics....instead of providing leadership. No wonder the public approval of Congress is as low as (or lower than) Bush's
