The NAACP needs much better leadership. Their focus on the tabloid story of the day INSTEAD OF DICTATING THE ISSUES - namely urban poverty, urban crime, the death of the nuclear family in the black community, wage parity, increasing opportunities for black men and women in the workplace, and rebuilding blighted urban black neighborhoods - is killing them. Sometimes literally.

I live in New Orleans, and the NAACP is nearly invisible except when they are jumping to the defense of someone who has done wrong. Exactly the opposite of what they need to be doing, namely condemning the behavior and setting better examples.
They only stoke racial tensions. And they are COMPLETELY invisible in the rebuilding effort.

Oh yeah, and Tucker Carlson is a racist douchebag.

You need only look at the disparity in the American reality between white and black America to see the need for an effective NAACP, and you need only look at Thurgood Marshall, Charles Hamilton Houston and W.E.B. Dubois to see that great men have had great success while in the NAACP, and we should hope for more of the same in the future.

And Tucker Carlson is a pompous, ignorant dickhead.

I just wan't to ask a question. Why is it that the "black communty" is such an obsession. Please do not tombstone me because I wan't to know. "WE" have failed our prodgonies for too many wrong reasons for far too long, at thier expense. Please engage me in an enlightnig conversation. I submit that the black leadership should empower the individual to be the best that they can be in an envionrement absent of government regulation. But that calls for responsibility.

Limbaugh's racism. On his program he suggested that the only reason Democrats want to go into Darfur is because they're black. Rush also suggested that the US, under Democrats, overthrew a white government in South Africa .. and that Mandela was supported by communists.
