The new President will have to choose to be like Ike or Nixon.

DDE saw the debacle that was Korea and decided to sue for whatever peace he could get. Nixon stayed the course and made the Vietnam
War his own at the cost of countless American and Asian lives. I pray that the next President is a Democrat who understands that the Iraq War must be ended as soon after the Inauguration as is humanly possible. If he/she follows the siren song of "things are turning around", it will be a travesty of immeasurable proportions .
