Democratic Candidates Slamming One Another During The Primary |
|
Wonder if they realize that EVERY word they utter in public is on tape somewhere and the things they say against their party opponents, now, can be brought out and used against them later by the Republicans during the general election campaign.
If they keep sniping at one another, the Repugs won’t have to say a word – just run those tapes and with a little creative editing - He said – She said!!! Our candidate goes in the toilet flushed down by his/her own people.
They have already turned me off and I’m on their side.

1. Would you rather just anoint a nominee? |
|
This isn't a coronation, nor should it be.
There are fundamental differences among the Democratic candidates. I, for one, would like to hear them debate those vigorously, so we can make the right decision about who should represent our party in the general election.

Not every one is as open minded as you are, Colonel.

2. The last gubernatorial race in Calif is the best example |
|
of using Dem quotes to finish a Dem candidate. It was also how Bloomberg got in NYC as mayor the first time. Our history is littered, to be sure with Dem hopefuls sunk by the circular firing squad.

I was appalled at the Westley v. Angelides smack-down here in California.

4. Well it always happens in the primaries so I expect it, |
|
but whoever resorts to using RW talking points, loses my respect.

5. It can work the other way too ya know |
|
I don't pay a lot of attention to what ghouliani, romney and the other dwarves are saying about each other but even I have heard enough to know that if the Dems had someone mean enough (or just smart enough) to do the sme type of cutting and pasting, it could flush their candidate down the shitter too.

6. Sure it can go both ways - BUT |
|
that is not the way I would like to see an election won - but who the hell am I, anyway - just another member of the electorate!

7. Oh bull. GOPers have their own opposition research |
|
plus they have their swiftboaters.
You just want to silence dissent against your favored candidate. How the heck are people supposed to decide among candidates if all the candidates do is hug and kiss each other and tell everyone how great all the candidates are?
The GOP will do what the GOP does. But I highly resent yours and others constant whining here at DU about what Dems shouldn't do because of GOPers. You sound like Harry and Nancy as they bent over and brought FISA up for a vote. They fearfully play bipartisanship with GOPers and you run in fear of GOPers.

9. I'm not whining you asshole - This is the first time I have made a |
|
complaint against them!!! Resent away if you like but this is not the way to win an election for an honorable candidate. I'm fed up with your whining!!!
You sound like one of those liberals who are trying to get even with your conservative parents. I have better things to do than argue with you people. Adios!!!!
