Wow... great fucking job CNN |
|
I wasn't aware that Gonzo resigned until about 2 minutes ago, when I read it in another thread. So I immediatley go to www.cnn.com, I see the huge "breaking news" banner at the top, only to realize the breaking news is "Vick pleads guilty"... the gonzo story is in tiny writing at the side. Pathetic.

1. Why do you think he chose today to resign? |
|
The media and BushCo knew where all the press would be today. Fewer Ops about Gonzales that way.

2. That's a bit unfair! CNN has been covering the Gonzo story since very early this morning! |
|
It was non-stop Gonzo, and AFTER they aired live coverage of his statements and had their several commentaries, they got the info from the courthouse on Vick. Just because both stories are news today isn't CNN's fault.

3. I agree, but CNN has been beating this Michael Vick story to death |
|
...for weeks now. Not that it isn't news, but they're blowing it way out of proportion. It's like the Paris/Lindsay/Nicole/Brittany drama all over again. I'm so tired of celebrity-driven "news."
As RFK Jr. often says, "Americans are the most entertained and the least informed people on the planet."
(Sigh)

4. Yeah, Raw Story had it last evening. CNN still thinks its a side story. |
