The poll numbers Kos has been posting are ferociously addictive.

I know they are for Clinton. I don't care. I figure that if she's doing that well against the Republican field, Edwards and Obama are doing at least as well or better.

I know they are meaningless. I don't care. They give me hope that things can at least stop getting worse in November, 2008, and at the same time, thrill me to the core with the prospect of sweet, righteous revenge.

I want to go out and make those numbers a reality (hopefully for Edwards), and dispel the dark clouds of shame and disgust at having such a horror as president right now.

But optimism isn't enough.

We need to keep the pressure on the GOP.

Write LTTEs about the various GOP candidate's skeletons.

Talk up our various Democratic candidates.
