Jack Carter Endorses Democrat Biden for President
Jack Carter, who ran unsuccessfully for U.S. Senate in Nevada last fall, has endorsed Sen. Joe Biden to be the Democratic nominee for president.

Carter, the son of former President Jimmy Carter, seemed to snub Illinois Sen. Barack Obama for his lack of experience and New York Sen. Hillary Clinton for having high unfavorable ratings in polls.

"With Joe Biden, we don't have to worry about the problems of lack of experience or high negatives affecting our chances in November 2008," Carter, 60, said in a statement released by the Biden campaign Monday. "I'm very comfortable that he can win."

1. I'm thinking Nevadans would have been better off and happier campers if
they'd chosen the Democrat Carter over the Puke who beat him.

Jack, hang in there and try again. The more Democrats there are out west, the better.

Joe Biden must be pleased to have Carter's vote of confidence.

3. Didn't Homer Simpson support Alexander Haig for president in 1988?
Kent Brockman showed an old photo of Homer Simpson in a Haig in '88 T-shirt.

Someday a Joe Biden '08 T-shirt will be remembered the same way.

4. An observation...
Jack Carter has expressed his opposition to a national semi-auto ban during his 2006 campaign, but Biden is one of the most passionate advocates for such a ban.
