Third GOP Senator Lands In Hot Water

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/08/28/politics/main3211447.shtml

snip:

Craig joins other Republican senators facing ethical and legal troubles.

Sen. Ted Stevens of Alaska is under scrutiny for his relationship with a contractor who helped oversee a renovation project that more than doubled the size of the senator's home.

Sen. David Vitter of Louisiana acknowledged that his phone number appeared in records of a Washington-area business that prosecutors have said was a front for prostitution.

Craig, a rancher and a member of the National Rifle Association, the gun owners' lobbying group, lives in Eagle, Idaho, near the capital of Boise. He was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for 10 years before winning election to the Senate in 1990. He was re-elected in 1996 and 2002.

Last fall, Craig called allegations from a gay-rights activist that he's had homosexual relationships "completely ridiculous."

Mike Rogers, who bills himself as a gay activist blogger, published the allegations on his Web site, www.blogactive.com, in October 2006.

Matt Foreman, executive director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, an advocacy group, on Monday called Craig a hypocrite.

3. If it's completely ridiculous, why did he plead guilty?
Was he intimidated by a large black man in the courtroom?

and corruption, anything for money that power can buy, he knows nothing else.

This old fuck is so fucking old, he doesn't see anything wrong in what he does....This environment hating piece of shit must go off and die somewhere up in the northern-est part of Alaska!

Maybe to his bridge to nowhere...that was meant exclusively and only for money, kickbacks!

7. Let's not forget Mark Foley's...
sexually explicit instant messages involving congressional pages, high school students who are under 18 years of age.

<<snip>>

He crusaded for tough laws against those who used the Internet for sexual exploitation of children.

"They're sick people; they need mental health counseling," Foley said.

<<snip>>

They say he used the screen name Maf54 on these messages provided to ABC News.

Maf54: You in your boxers, too?
Teen: Nope, just got home. I had a college interview that went late.
Maf54: Well, strip down and get relaxed.

Another message:

Maf54: What ya wearing?
Teen: tshirt and shorts
Maf54: Love to slip them off of you.

And this one:

Maf54: Do I make you a little horny?
Teen: A little.
Maf54: Cool.

The language gets much more graphic, too graphic to be broadcast, and at one point the congressman appears to be describing Internet sex.
