Tight 2008 Race Developing in Pennsylvania
August 29, 2007


(Angus Reid Global Monitor) - The Keystone State could become a key battleground in the 2008 United States presidential election, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports. 45 per cent of respondents in Pennsylvania would vote Democratic New York senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, while 44 per cent would back Republican former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani.

In other match-ups, Rodham Clinton holds a four-point lead over actor and former Tennessee senator Fred Thompson, a seven-point advantage over Arizona senator John McCain, and a 13-point lead over former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney.
