If Edwards (hypothetically) dropped out, would you vote for Hillary or Obama?

8. You forgot the 5 other options,
and the good possibility that many Edwards supporters would not vote for either of the two you offered. There are better choices among the other 5.

I'm not an Edwards supporter, although I prefer him to Clinton/Obama. I won't be voting for either of them at any time.

10. I thnk ths assumes all lesser candidates drop out by March of 2008
If one is left with only 2 other choices, it's obvious OBAMA is ALL OVER CLINTON in support!

20. He attracts Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and people from all walks of life.
He's the kind of leader America hasn't had in almost 8 years.

23. Because the article cited is the Chicago Trib, and it is talking about
Chicago doners, and Chicago is, you might remember, in Illinois where Obama comes from. He's a known quantity to them.

24. repubs/corporatists support Obama because "He's a known quantity to them."
That says something, and it's not good.
