I ran into a guy the other day who said that New Orleans should be left |

to whither away. You know, the old "Anyone who lives in below-sea-level, hurricane part of the country should live with what they get." I asked him if the same should be said of those in earthquake-prone Californa, the flood-plains along the Mississppi River, the entire state of Florida, tornado alley in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas, and along the east coast including here in coastal NC.
He shut up.
