Major Political Reform: An Election Every Day |
|
Would it be possible for there to be daily federal elections that the general voting public participates in?
Presumably the elections would not decide who will be President for the rest of the day, but would make some kinds of federal government decisions.
If the economy were like the political system, then every four years there would be one day set aside for the general public to participate in economic decisions. On that one day, they would be allowed to change jobs, sell a home, buy a home, rent a home, end their tenancy period in a home, buy a subscription to a newspaper, etc. The rest of the time, they would have no way to make any economic decisions.

2. Surely someone thought of a comment for this thread even if it wasn't posted. |

Given that an OP in this forum that simply expressed frustration with some unacceptable but unidentified anti-faith messages on DU got 162 replies and 20 recommendations, I don't feel that it is unjustifiable to give this thread another kick or two or three or forty.
