4. It's as if the only work of value is military work
Pfui.

We already have Veterans Day, Fourth of July and Memorial Day. Can't the working people have their day without having it stolen out frorm under them?

3. Troops, applaud wildly for the prez or you do another tour in Iraq
And so they did.

Anbar is the "dramatic difference" says the prez. And those new tanks are up for bid right now. Will take years to build, so we have to keep our troops in Iraq till the tanks get there.

This war is going to be never-ending!!!!!!!

7. Thundering silence when Bush kept saying what they are doing in Anbar is keeping us safe here
They can't make them clap for every lie that comes out of Bush's mouth.

11. I found the loud clapping at the start and end kinda creepy. What else
are the troops supposed to think but that they had done a good job. Kinda a captive audience.

12. Col. Jack Jacobs just said altho Bush has been saying this for a long time, it is not true al Qaeda
in Iraq will be coming here if we weren't over there.

We wasted four years getting to this position, and we do not have the political will to enforce this for another four years.

This was after the MSNBC correspondent begged to differ with Jack that al Qaeda in Iraq was not a strong factor--which Col Jacobs had said a few minutes earlier on MSNBC.

Col. Jack Jacobs, an incredibly decorated Vietnam War veteran, has the guts to speak out, as MSNBC's military analyst, and he gets dissed by the reporter who is traveling with Bush. Why am I not surprised!

Thank you, Colonel Jack Jacobs, for really supporting the troops!

14. Steals another Holiday
Pig-boy-lying-sack-of-crap on TV again on a holiday... spinning his love of war. Another fake Turkey dinner, more Republican lies and Fox Spin. No rest for the troops. For those taxpayers remaining (who at least have jobs), cannt he at least STFU for one Holiday? Can the American Sheeple really be this stupid? I know the Wal-Mart Evangelical crowd is in denial.. but they deserve everytihg that is coming to them.

16. As Andy Card once said, "From a marketing point of view, you don't introduce new products in August"
Remember the "We don't want the smoking gun turning into a mushroom cloud" rollout after Labor Day in 2002?

17. Now, now, something around 28% of folks will buy it again.

Well, unless the old patriotic marketing "strategery" has run its course. Doubt it.:nuke: :grr:
