After today only 25% of the delegates will have been decided.
75% are still remaining. To suggest that any of our front runners should bow out is premature and desperate.

:hi:

1. You are correct, ma'am.
I do wish the media would take the hint.

6. I wish Terry McAulliffe and the DNC would take the hint.
Is there any doubt, as to who they want, and have wanted all along?? For any candidate to stand up to that machine, is very, very tough.

3. The vultures have been circling all week.....
What they fail to realize is that as soon as one of them stands alone, the bush* two million dollar war chest will be unleashed on them and the media will have nine months to concentrate on digging up dirt. Be careful what you wish for, sometimes you just might get it.
I'm personally supporting my candidate thru the convention and all the way up to the general election where I may write in his name. All the threats and veiled attempts to guilt me into changing my vote are in vain, the butt kissing doesn't work either.
You see what a lot of people fail to understand is that Dean has inspired his supporters in a way that many of the candidates have not. Dean supporters stand on principle for issues and ideals and their support is special in a sense that they are fiercly loyal to their candidate. We will not be wooed or goaded into changing our vote very easily. We are not fickle and not easily swayed by the politics as usual campaign rhetoric that abounds. We are a rare breed in deed.

7. Much can happen with those other 75%.
People have been railroaded into nominating the media's choice. They may start to catch on and feel like they want their own choice.

8. that's precisely why they front-loaded the primaries
to nominate the frontrunner as soon as possible, and forget about the rest of the big states that haven't voted yet.

9. It's almost like the Return of the Smoke Filled Room.
So the bigwigs found a way to finesse the primary system. I'm amazed they didn't think of this before 1992; then we wouldn't have had to watch Clinton beat Poppy bush (sarcasm, of course).

11. The Media wants Dean out and they will get him
Edited on Tue Feb-17-04 06:59 PM by rodbarnett
It is a shame but the media electors have picked Kerry. Dean will continue to be hammered and finally pushed out. Edwards will just chug along and Media gods will have their man.

end of story.....sad but true

15. It isn't only the media.
Watch Terry McAuliffe (DNC) next chance you get. It is quite obvious which candidate HE wants as OUR nominee. And it AIN'T Dean. Or Clark. Or Edwards. Or DK.
