Hats off to Dean's Supporters
On my way to a business appointment this morning I drove by a local polling station. Outside the station and a legal distance away from the polls were two Dean supporters with their sign and placards braving the morning cold (it was still only about 19 degrees F out there at that time.

I salute their dedication and wish them the best. That, my friends is democracy in action!

3. I think the Dean supporters
Edited on Tue Feb-17-04 05:43 PM by Vote_Clark_In_WI
are going to need a lot of Clark shoulders in the weeks to come, if things don't look up in the near future. The thing we share is an absolute 100% commitment to our candidates.

(Hey, ewagner, have you already voted today? :hi: )

edited to clarify that I don't mean the first sentence as another Dean obit - just to say that we, of all people, understand the pain you might be feeling.

5. No
The wife (also known as the obviously better half) asked that I wait until she left work so we could go together. I expect to go sometime around 6PM.

Of course, I could have followed the old saying and voted "early and often"

6. Vote_ Clark_ Dean supporters truly hope their man could win
but I don't think they have put all their eggs in one basket as Clark supporters have. What I mean by that is Dean supporters are moving on to the next phase of grass roots rather than throwing in their lot with the status quo. (I truly believe the crying will be in November.

7. Dean supporters are still working the phones
and getting people to the polls.

Anyone who wishes can offer a prayer to St. Jude...

10. This Dean fan appreciates it, too.
I have yet to take my Dean for America sticker off my car. It's still there with my puckered, sun-parched War is Not the Answer sticker. The peace sign by now is so weathered as to be almost decipherable.
