Gore will probably endorse one of the candidates. Not Hillary.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! this is just soooooooooo cool.

Gore's hint

From the AP:

Democrat Al Gore says he will probably endorse one of his party's 2008 presidential candidates. And it won't necessarily be Hillary Rodham Clinton, the wife of his former boss.

Er, one guess on this one.

If/when he goes with Obama, there'll be a lot of chuckling about Howard Dean and the kiss of death. But I think Gore '08 is a very different figure from Gore '04, with much less of the loser's taint.

4. nothing here to support your view. it is all opinion..
Edited on Tue Sep-04-07 06:52 PM by msongs
as the post says, it won't necessarily be HRC. well that means it might be her. you have read it to say it will be your person.
it doesnt say that either.

You have already said you will not vote for the democratic nominee if it is HRC, not that you are biased :-)

5. While I'm not for Hillary, your title is misleading

and I hope Gore endorses the best person- himself.

8. This is what the article said.
NEW YORK: Former Vice President Al Gore says he will probably endorse 2008 Democratic presidential candidates. And it will not necessarily be Hillary Rodham Clinton, the wife of his former boss, former President Bill Clinton.

"Uh...no," the former vice president told 02138 magazine when asked if he feels "some obligation" to endorse the senator from New York.

"I have friendships with her and with other candidates, and they're all on equal footing at this point as far as I'm concerned," he said.

Gore said several candidates had called and visited him to seek advice. He declined to name them.

In the interview, Gore again declined to completely rule out a presidential run next year but said "it doesn't feel right at this point." He also said he doubted he would ever completely rule out a return to politics in the future.

Illinois only posted what Politico said. She did not make up what was said on Politico

15. It's a verbatim quote
The OP quoted the Politico article word for word. If you have a gripe, it should be with that site.

14. "uh... no." In response to the question "do you feel obligated to endorse Clinton."

I'm positive every endorsement she's gotten didn't come from someone who felt "obligated."

one can't help but notice that Gore was more than happy to oblige.

21. Edwards, Biden or Richardson?
Obama for vice president, one of the above, most likely Edwards for president. That's my opinion. Why? Edwards is strong on poverty and on the environment. Biden is strong on foreign policy. Richardson was in the Clinton administration. They probably know each other very well.

30. ...
What's bothering me are the ones who are so obviously on the payroll. They post nothing, respond to nothing, have no interest in anything other than rhetoric on their candidate. I don't mind the issues and information, but enough with the fluff. "Oooooh, Mr. X shook hands at a rally!" or "Look, Ms. Y walked into a room and people clapped!" Enough already!!

31. i don't even want to debate that becasue there is no proof but i know what you're saying
it's the same posters over and over again that either ring and run or comeback maybe once and respond to there own op. Personally i think they're piss poor reps for their candidates.

33. Yeah, they do shade my view of their candidates just a little negatively.
I'll of course make up my own mind and vote for my choice, but they aren't helping their candidates when I automatically ignore anything that they post, possibly missing something that could even make me chose that person! And, anything good they say I take with a grain of salt. Plus, I do wonder if they aren't on the payroll and, if that's the case, I'm not impressed with that canidate's campaign tactics.

All in all, it's pretty counterproductive.
