Hillary On Ellen. Wow, She Looked Incredible! |
|
Just thought I'd post this, because when she looks not so great, inevitably there are people here who will rush to their computers to whack her.
The far more important thing (though she did look great, trust me) was that she came off as funny, warm, witty, engaged, thoughtful and sharp.
She hit a home run.

That's the important thing: to come off as funny, warm, witty, engaged, thoughtful and sharp.

I don't watch Ellen's show, normally, but I was flipping channels and couldn't help but watch her. Hillary looked very comfortable in that cafe. :) She just doesn't have the warm fuzzies like Bill. She's not my first choice, but she'd be a good choice, anyway.

I missed Hillary on Ellen- Hillary illustrates the exact qualities we need in our next president. The ability to listen and understand the issues that are important to everyone. Issues that need to be recognized and addressed by our democratic nominee.

18. So you're not persuaded by the Hillary camp's argument that... |

change means dialing the clock back to 1992 and such "change" will be best realized if we elect a candidate who celebrates "the system"?

Thinking that we can just go back to the nineties, and everything will be hunky dory.

35. I have yet to see a two trick pony. |
|
It seems the only one they can master is the dive into the water from a platform.I think we should switch the saying to "one trick dog" which would indeed be sad.Fetch should be a given, and playing dead can't be that hard,so a one trick dog would be a disappointment.
A one trick pony sounds good enough to me.They're friggin ponies, what do you expect?

how they handle this. Instead of the incredibly clever "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" which even a blind typist could manage, how about actually addressing the issue? Like: Why did she do it? And, maybe more importantly, What would she do in a similar situation in the future? In case anyone wants to answer, please use more than one letter. There are 26 total.

A genuine and warm person if ever I saw one.I didn't like her sitcom much, but I always loved her standup, and now she's really found her groove with her own show.I don't watch very often because I usually have music on by then, but when I do she always cracks me up.
