One thing going for both Obama and Johnny E is that they

don't bring a lot of baggage to the table with them...

By this I mean they haven't been around big time politics enough to have shady characters lurking in the background hoping to get a big fat government contract just because they raised up a lot of cash for the cause...

All the others, with the exception of Gravel and Denny the K, have "special" friends who will need taking care of once the right hands leaves that family bible on inauguration day...

Of course even Barrack and Edwards will have some exceptions to the rule pop up now and then, it's bound to happen when you are talking about donations well into the millions, but neither of them have been in DC long enough to accumulate enough baggage to make them ethically challenged from the Git Go...

Just wanted to put that one out there to ponder for a bit...

I am sure there will be some folks here that will set me straight if I am wrong, but hey...

I just thought I'd throw my two cents in...
