Things Aren't Bad Enough Yet
YOu would think that after 6+ years of Bush/Cheney fiasco after fiasco, after 30+ years of GOP misrule, people would be starting to catch on.

But the level of cynicism, not to mention paranoia, is nowhere near high enough to effect change. Reagan was a master of generating paranoia. He could whip up a frenzy faster than a chef a soufle.

But Democrats can't even whip their leadership up. God knows, we've tried, and continue trying.

I don't have a solution, but a description. Feel free to add your comments.

1. Just wait until the major portion of the subprime fiasco hits in October.
The Fed feeding the banks liquidity won't be enough to keep them afloat. Then the Dems will have to do something. But I'm afraid they will be just as paralyzed by a falling apart economy as they are by a pResident who ignores the constitution. Where is a good FDR when you need him?

4. If Enron Didn't Do It, With All the Other Frauds simultaneously
I doubt that the mortgage collapse will.

After all, the people getting gored in that include some of the biggest money in the country (of course, most of the big money is probably out of the country and out of the dollar as a currency by now).

2. It truly is a disillusioning state of affairs for those of us who are aware...
I'm beginning to think all we can do is surrender to the enormous crash and burn this country has coming.

Do the Dems even have one true leader among them??

3. Howard Dean--Neutralized by the MSM
and doing his best to build Democratic infrasturucture...the job Clinton never go started!

It may be too late for that, though.

5. You're right, HD is a true leader...
I worked for his campaign and was so hopeful and happy doing it ~ amazing that he can still stomach DC enough to keep fighting the good fight. Bless 'im!
