Poll question: Will Hillary be a better President than Bill(if elected)? |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-05-07 09:18 AM by Dawgs
I liked Bill as a President, and I don't dislike Hillary (sorry, that's the best I can do right now).
As a Hillary supporter(or not) do you think she will be a better President(if she wins) than Bill?

1. She's not elected yet. |
|
She's not even won the primary. If Gore throws his hat in the ring then she definitely will not even get the chance.

10. Sounds more like your listening to yourself. Hill's "in it to win it". She won't |
|
bring into the general election the excess baggage of weak-in-the-knees supporters or campaign workers.
Greens and ultra progressive delusionaries can begin preparations for an eight-year-long pity party.

12. Everyone playing the lotto is "in it to win it" as well. |
|
And I don't do the self-pity stuff.Hillary winning is nothing compared to what I've gone through,so there's nothing to feel sorry about if she does win.
But thanks for the concern.

I'm not a green or ultra progressive and I don't care for the woman, don't trust the woman, and will ONLY support her in the general because she is just one rung up the ladder of the best Republican candidate.

15. I'm beginning to dislike Hillary supporters (if they actually exist) as much as I do Hillary herself |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-05-07 11:55 AM by Danieljay
typical Hillary supporter statement. I'm surprised it wasn't "Why do you hate Hillary?"
Edited to add: I honestly don't know anyone outside the Democratic Underground that actually supports the woman. Not one. My entire family (except for one sister) are hard core Dems and progressives. My social network is all Dem or progressive, and I have yet to hear one of them who says they actually support Hillary for the nomination. Its bizzare.

17. "Dislike" is a two-way street. Those who don't know any Hillary supporters should |
|
get away from their keyboards once in awhile and start meeting folk in the real world.

20. The only Hillary supporters I can find online or off are here on Democratic Underground... |
|
I happen to be in marketing and sales, meet people every day in the real world, have plenty of political conversations and not ONE person I've met, off Democratic Underground, support Hillary Clinton.
So all I have for a reference is those here who accuse anyone who doesn't care for her or support her as "Hillary bashers/haters". I simply don't care for or trust the woman. Period. Its not about bashing and not about hating.

|
"Hey me. Any chance I can expand my territory?"
"Sure, go ahead you. Perhaps you'll meet some Hillary supporters who will change your mind."
"Hey, thanks me. I'll do that".
Looks like I have permission!

Hillary has exactly the same handlers as did Bill: Carville, McAulliffe, From et al.

She would (as whoever the next president is) face coming into a bigger mess than Bill did in 1993.
