True or False: If Hillary wins both Iowa and New Hampshire, she's the nominee |
|
And it may be all over if she wins Iowa as that is the one state where it's really tight. Unless the Hillary is inevitable aura she has is slashed at the beginning, I think she steamrolls everyone given how compressed the schedule is.

But most likely.
I'm hoping that's not a scenario we'll have to worry about.

3. NH and Iowa are only good for press. One still has to count the number of delegates at the con- |
|
vention! In other words, the Super Southern Primary could make mincemeat out of any Iowa and NH delegation wins. NY, Illinois, Ohio, Florida, California, Texas, etc. are the big ones. The super primaries can probably do more to the press image of a candidate than Iowa and NH. As soon as the "real" delegate count begins, then the mood shifts.
For example: Buchanan won in 1996 in NY as did Hart in 1984! There is still plenty of time after the early ones for an onset of "foot in mouth" disease. . .

4. Edwards is running ahead in Iowa |

Some are expecting him to take N.H and SC.

7. I don't know about that, but he definitely stays alive by winning IA - |
|
I think losing in Iowa dooms the Edwards candidacy.

Edwards needs to win Iowa, and he probably needs a convincing victory there. Scraping by with a percentage point or two probably will be counted as a loss for him.

5. Not unless it is a commanding win |

as opposed to just a couple of percentage points.

6. Iowa and NH will decide Edwards fate, not Hillary's. |
|
If she does win in those states, Edwards will be basically out. Then it'll be down to Obama and Hillary. That's a toss up.

8. Hillary has it in the bag, never doubt that. |

My SIL and I are both voting for her, and almost everyone I talk to believes she'll be the next prez.

The country appears to be stuck in the maggot syndrome. Pull it out of a pile of shit and it crawls right back in.

10. Edwards takes Iowa. Biden wins New Hampshire. |
|
Senator Clinton will eke out a narrow win in Nevada between IA and NH but Bill Richardson will finish such a strong second that he'll feel like the winner.
Those three states' outcomes would scramble the notion of an easy straightaway for any one candidate, and would leave the door a bit more open to late entrants. Gary, Wes, Al, and Bobby.
Put the beer on ice early. I think it's gonna be a humdinger of a political year coming up.

12. Answer: FALSE. Hillary will only be the Ethanol Queen with a granite heart! |
|
Unfortunately, by the time February 6 rolls in, we will know who the nominee is.
