Gilmore (R-Ohio 5th) Dead!
http://www.advertiser-tribune.com/News/articles.asp?articleID=10286

I KNOW I should not dance... and I suppose I'm not.. really.. but why couldn't it have been a Senator, not a House member!?
One down....
OK OK OK OK I got that out of my system.
He died of a heart attack at his residence in DC. Being overweight (but not at much as this guy and exercising regularly) I am sympathetic. Dying of a heart attack can be one of the more horrible ways to go. BAM... then you just sit there, unable to move, with no one in the room, you go, painfully, maybe slowly, you see death, standing there, waiting.. filing her nails, or picking come lint off his cloak. Waiting. In the words of the horse from Ren N stimpy... "No Sir, I didn't like it!"

I'm sure there's plenty of evil dirty ti dig up on this guy, we was GOP for 10 terms after all... but I honestly hope it was fast, quick, and painless (well as painless as a major cardiac event can be). Whatever his evils, and good, they are being dealt with now.

;) Does that count?

Anyway, the OP is in kind of poor taste. But, I understand the anger and frustration from whence it came.

My sincere condolences to his family.

TC

6. I think I'm on her Ignore List...
I wasn't particularly offended by the post, as I took it more as a comment on Republicans in general than on Gilmore personally. Other than his party affiliation, I don't know to what extent he was a cretin.

8. Why do you think it attacked him? ;)
It's likely he was sitting there, alone, just him and... whatever... then it snuck up on him, waiting all these years for it's revenge... the heart he had surgically removed to be able to run as an "effective" republican... It's day had come.. AND THEN HIS HEART ATTACKED!!!!! There was blood nowhere but in his veins, as his heart fitted it's self back in place. where it could finally stop... beating... and rest...at...las...

I suppose my OP was a bit harsher than it should have been, but the reich over here in Holland is trying to go down the same road the GOP are, and it's driving me up a wall. To see one of their own gone, gives me hope that his seat will be replaced with a Dem, and we can start repairing our poor, beloved, BEATEN country before it's too late, which I already fear it is. He may not have been directly responsible (like any one who voted for these bastards) but he supported it, so the blood is/was equally on his hands.
