What do you think the nickname "Hill Dog"? |
|

Is it complimentary, derogatory or neither?
I first heard it on a South Park spoof of 24.

3. Women will see it as nasty, men will snicker, and Chelsea will probably be embarrased. |
|
Are you happy now? ;)
Maybe if Bill is called "Big Dog", we could call her "Mrs. Big Dog".

5. Yes. Calling a woman a dog has always been an insult. Remember Chelsea? |
|
It harkens back to when the Rethugs were insulting Chelsea that way, and she was only 13 or so.
Just because South Park did it doesn't make it ok or funny.

4. I think referring to a woman as a dog is crude, insulting, and anti-woman. |
|
Seems about right for South Park's brand of humor. Big Dog for Bill has a substantially different connotation to it, referring to his place as alpha dog of the American pack.

Calling a woman a cat can sometimes be endearing--and empowering!

"So if you want a winner who knows how to take them on, I'm your girl"
Or perhaps even just "Winner."
(And I have to admit, I kind of like "Madame Inevitable," just because of the way it must get under the skin of all the supporters of loser-candidates (all the non-Hillaryites) )

10. No. A female dog is a "bitch" |
|
it's definitely derogatory.
Personally I like to hear her referred to as Senator Clinton in the corporate media. It's an annoying reminder to the wingers each time for one thing. It gives her her due for another thing.
