    BAGHDAD - Four U.S. Marines were killed in fighting in Anbar province, and three soldiers were killed by a roadside bomb in northern Iraq, the military said Friday.


    Britain's Defense Ministry announced Friday the death of British soldier killed two days earlier. It gave no details on where or how the soldier died.

    The four Marines assigned to Multi National Force — West were killed Thursday in combat in Anbar, a predominantly Sunni province west of Baghdad that has seen a recent drop in violence, according to a statement.

    Three Task Force Lightning soldiers also were killed Thursday when a bomb exploded near their vehicle in the northern Ninevah province, the military said separately.

    The deaths raised to at least 3,760 members of the U.S. military who have died since the Iraq war started in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count. ...

    operation Wickersham 3, near the city of Baqouba,
    60 kilometers (35 miles) northeast of Baghdad, Thursday,
    Sept, 6, 2007. Operation Wickersham 3 was held over 40 hours
    to flush out suspected insurgents in the Baqouba area.


We need to stop the killing, bring our troops home now!

1. And in all sincerity
not one bush supporter gives a fuck about those dead troops. As there god limbaugh would say, more die in car wrecks so it ain't no big deal. And as tony snow would more then happily point out, its only a number. It must really suck saying you are pro-life while having your hypocrisy on display 24/7.
