Poll question: Former (or current) Dean supporters-- who are you currently supporting and why?
I'm leaning towards Obama, but I am open to other arguments. :D

1. because I don't think Kucinich will win the nomination.
Not a chance I would vote for Hillary or Obama.

6. HIllary, because she is the most right wing of the candidates. sold out.
Obama because I do not agree with his "make peace with the republicans" stance. I think we are way beyond that possibility. Edwrads, kucinich, and even Richardson have ideologies I trust.
Richardson was on the radio this morning, he said we need to be completely out of Iraq within 6 to 8 months.

3. I like Kucinich
Until he is no longer running I will support him. Very strong on social issues and I believe if you fix the poverty a lot will be corrected.

5. Obama.
Because I think he's the most rational, common-sense-based, and consistent in his positions -- and because he's got the charisma and leadership ability to inspire people with hope, which we desperately need today.

8. I'm waiting for Al but if he disappoints me (and so many others) I guess I'll
work for Edwards or Richardson. Maybe DK but I have some lingering doubts about him since he didn't throw his support behind Howard in Iowa (the only other anti-war candidate) and went with Edwards instead.

Because I think she'll be the toughest, nastiest streetfighter candidate against whatever chump the repubs pick.

10. Edwards- because he has great plans and policies on important issues
he is talking about real issues that are important to me, the way Dean did back in 2003.
He is the most progressive candidate also, just like Dean.

(Not being contentious, just curious. :) )

We won't vote in the primary until Florida shuts up Bill Nelson.
One of the campaigns called tonight, and I told them that. They had no clue, or pretended...what was going on.

Stop the emails asking funding to the DNC to stop. Stop Bill Nelson from using it to stump for his bills.

We will not vote in the primary until Florida gets off its high horse.

13. Obama
I initially supported Dean because he alone (other than Kucinich) had the judgement to oppose the Iraq War. He also had a good record as Governor along with sensible and progressive positions on the major issues. Finally, he had an excitement around his campaign where people felt they were part of something special.
Those are the same reasons I'm supporting Obama now.

15. I was leaning Obama, now leaning Edwards
I like Edward's populism message is what it boils down to.

Oh, and BTW, anybody but Hillary. :hide:

I don't like ANY of them. Well, DK, but he won't make it to the general election. Of those who actually have a shot, I don't trust any of them.
