3. Seriously. The MIlitary has to be getting sick of this. It would
be an honorable thing for him to tell the truth as he sees it on the ground. He has to answer to the President, but his duty is to his country.

4. If he was even thinking...
...of doing anything REMOTELY like that, the Bush administration would have learned of it somehow (probably by spying on him), and he'd find his plane going down over a stretch of desert sand.

6. He would go down in history as one of the greatest Americans, up there with Washington...
Too bad the military, which we are told we must support, doesn't seem to have any such men...

7. He would give the American people...
...a much needed dose of reality, as well as someone to look to as an example of what IS possible...starting with an honest assessment of where we are, and in relation to more than Iraq.

My God, if only he would do it...

8. What if he says:
I will not lie, cheat or steal nor tolerate those that do. Then he delivers the truth.

There was a cadet at the recent academy graduation that refused to shake hands with Cheney.

Could a general show as much courage in a situation where he is required to express himself honestly.

If not he is not qualified for his job. If he did he might be elected president by write in.

9. Oh man...
Or if he started out by looking directly at Cheney, et.al., and saying "When I first put on this uniform I took an oath to defend our Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic..."

If only...

But General Betray-us is placed to serve his masters, NOT the American people.

He is no General Smedley Butler, who famously said that "War is a Racket!" - and that the United States military had been used as nothing more than mere enforcers for corporate interests, "making the world safe for Standard Oil" - and this was in the 1930s!!!
